Härnö Trail is an Eco-labelled Event (Miljömärkt Event) certified by The Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation. That implies that we comply with a number of criteria concerning environment, littering, purchase of goods, food and beverage and transportation among other things. These criteria assist in our work to minimize the environmental impact but at the same time shows the surrounding world that we take responsibility. Besides, we are Sweden’s only eco-labelled trail running event! We are very proud of that!
Eco-labelled Event is the Foundation’s Environmental Award for Events (Miljömärkt Event) are given to public events, for example contests and concerts, which work actively on reducing their environmental impact.
Härnö Trail should be characterized by a good environmental work throughout the whole organization. We love the nature as much as our participants do and we want to take care of our beautiful nature in the High Coast of Sweden. It’s our responsibility to limit the environmental impact before, during and after the event.
